Pam Scholefield will be at the Ramona Assistance Center to help Fire Victims

On Sunday Nov. 2 Pam Scholefield will be available to assist in any legal matters that deal with contractors. It is expected that Ms. Scholefield will provide a basic check list to ensure that homeowners will be able to thoroughly investigate possible scam contractors, and to educate the homeowners on the contracting laws.

Her assistance is part of the County Bar Associataion and other legal groups offering fire victims free legal advice. The coalition met for the first time Wednesday morning and includes the county bar association, the Bar Association of Northern San Diego County, the Foothills Bar Association, the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, Lawyers Club of San Diego, Cardozo Society, the Legal Aid Society of San Diego and the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, together representing more than 12,000 lawyers.
